The One Gift I Want

There are a thousand items in my Christmas list. There are tons of un-ticked boxes in my to do list before the holidays. But one thing remains constant in my life and that is God. He inspires me, motivates me and encourages me. He is the one gift I want for Christmas. The gift of His presence and His Love. How could I ask for anything else but His best? How could I say I need when I have everything I need in Him. I am constantly reminded that there are a million blessings that He gave throughout the year. How could I ask for one material thing when He supplied my every need, answered my every prayer, loved me in spite of me. How wonderful a God who is gracious.

This Thanksgiving and Christmastime, I ask for nothing else but the Beautiful, Marvelous Wonderful God in our hearts that warm out home.

For the gifts and the calling of God are without repentance.

Romans 11:29

Oh Thank Goodness there’s Blogging

My dear husband is sitting in a treestand somewhere, hunting for deer and is enjoying the time of his life.
I am still in front of the computer typing, blogging about stuff and enjoying the time of my life. There is nothing exhilarating than making friends online and being able to communicate with them. It is [...]

The tree were like ladies ready to change her flowery dress into [...]

Ah yes, this is the time to praise God for all the good things He has provided for all of us. He is indeed a good God. He gave and we honor His gift. I have heard many times before that we should bless God in all circumstances in our lives. We should exclaim our [...]

The Kid in the Candy Store

There was a day, 27 years ago, I had my palms open, and my arms outstretched and showed an elderly man my .25-centavo coin. I asked him what I could exchange this shiny metal with in his small store. The elderly man in his late 50’s smiled and pointed [...]

Just another ordinary Tuesday. Nothing happening here. Woke up late. I was working on a basket in the Ladies’ Meeting from church last night. Everyone looked new to me. Jason and I just started to attend a few months ago. When we introduced one another, no one can pronounce my name. I got a new [...]

bought a ghost town. Signed a check for 15.5 million and got the land title for Kitsault, British, Columbia. Is that whack or what? I found it for sale on E-bay and thought, this might be a good deal. Kitsault is a nice place. Cool in short. I can go there for a day and [...]

When people say that this food or this drink is an aphrodisiac, do you believe them? Andrew Zimmern, host of Bizzare Foods say that if it comes from somewhere exotic and looks a little bit inedible, then people claim it to be a booster for a man’s masculinity or an extra encouragement to the aggressiveness [...]
