Frugal Tip#4: Primping your Wood Furniture for the Holidays

20 November 2008 4 Comments

Are you ready for the holidays?

There are a lot of brands of wood polish out in the market that choosing the right one can mean a headache and even last penny spent. Well, fear no more. In case you were doing your cleaning and notice that your wood furnitures are on the beat up side, just go to your cupboard and get coffee.

Yes, that’s right folks, coffee!

First make yourself a cup of coffee to perk up all our cleaning nerve and use the same coffee to make a solution to cover scratches on your wood chair or furnitures. First thing, get a couple teaspoons of coffee and stir in a few drops of water until it becomes a thick paste. Use a clean dry rag to apply in nicks and dings on the dark wood. For lighter colored woods, used tea instead of coffee.

There, all ready for the holidays. This is also a reminder for all my friends to buff their furnitures because in the true chocolateword fashion, I might show up to get my aginaldo come Christmas time. I won’t forget to admire the beauty of your newly-polished woodwork and interview you or your help as to the tipid factor and easy factor of making them beautiful things come back to life.

Don’t get caught with dull looking furnitures. The inspector gadget might drop by. Be prepared!
