Have you had any of the Lean Cuisine dinner lately? If the answer is yes, and you still have extra boxes in your freezer please beware. These boxes of food might contain sharp bright blue plastic shards and would be a health risk to you and your family (according to US Department of Food and Inspection Service).  Nestle’ is recalling 1.2 million LC meals with production date of 8/18/08 to 10/27/08. The company based in Solon, Ohio issued an Ohio and nationwide recall of:

  •  9 1/2 ounce Lean Cuisine Pesto Chicken with Bow Tie Pasta
  • 10 1/2 ounce Lean Cuisine Chicken Mediterranean
  • 12 1/2 ounce Lean Cuisine Chicken Tuscan

Please visit The Huffington Post for more information on production codes and dates. I will also transcribe a phone interview of Nestle’s Lean Cuisine Recall tomorrow. You can also call 1-800-993-8625 for additional information.
